Land Sharing Idea - what do you think?

Having dealt with a lot of muslims in my life, I think that they would have a better chance than most of us of doing something like proposed. They tend to have a better sense of community than most of us, and deal better with one another in close proximity. We as Americans don't deal well with people in our space.

That said, I would definitely make sure before hand that the property can be divided into the spaces you want with family living quarters on each piece. Some land we have looked at can't be divided into smaller pieces and still have homes built on it. Some of the pieces that can be divided can't have livestock on them due to the smaller size. Just be sure you can do what you want prior to laying any money down.

people are fickle and change over time. i would not put my faith and sense of well-being in the hands of people that may change in 5 or 10 years.

i would opt toward self-reliance and go for the 20 acre goat ranch on top of a rocky hilltop, lol.
