This was in Illinois, in the boonies, MP......And in this part of Maine the road kill is little, like squirrels. I have seent he Turkey Vultures swoop in in the dusk...

Partridge in Windsor an Whitefield....Turkey in South China/ Windsor line

When I was doing the schoolbus we saw a deer a week here in China, especially near the school.

The moose was just outside of Stratton.

Damaged meat goes to the dog. Unless a deer gets sandwiched between two vehicels I don't see how both sides could be badly damaged. I've never experienced it.
