She's delivered! Whew!

Trips, one buckling dead.

Live and slightly premature buckling and doeling. They're not quite yet up on their feet, but they had full bellies when we left this morning, and we're going to check on them at lunch.

The buckling is, of course, the flashier of the two.

Cute babies! Glad she finally got the load off her poor legs, hope they are all up and around soon.

Just had to check how Nomo was doing today. So glad she delivered OK. What pretty babies. So sorry about her lost buckling. Can she stand up yet or is she still too weak?

^^^What Susan said. Also what you (Pony!) said about the boy being the flashier one.

Got Nomo up for a (very) brief 30 seconds, but heading out in a few to try again. All well, kids should be up and running tomorrow, I think.

Thanks so much, Goat Friends!

Emily and I talked about cutting holes in a blanket, and hanging her from a rafter or tree. We got her up again tonight, and she stood a little longer, thank God!

All I could think of was my over achiever line. Mac, was one of those.....a real sweet heart....she could not get up we lost her so I waited for good news cause it is so scary when one is in the she's you were in.

Wishing all the best.

She's doing better all the time. Nomo wants to get up, but still needs our help for that. Once she's up on her pins, she can stand for around 5 minutes. This pleases her kids, b/c they do not like lying down to suckle!

Still having to work that last joint on her right rear hoof. She keeps standing like a ballerina - but she's standing.
