Well seems you keeping her fed, hydrated, and as comfortable as you can.
What caught my interest was "you said she had slipped on the ice and then was having issues with her back end" my concern would definitely be her legs stiffening up by not being able to move around, and she may have wrenched her back or have a pinched nerve and I am not going to suggest making her get up since the pain and stress could send her into early labor, but maybe some tissue/muscle massage along her back following the muscle path down her legs, as heavy bred as she is its not likely you can lay her on her side but perhaps tilt her and then extend her legs flex...retract. I'm pretty sure you understand what I am saying. Physical Therapy isn't just for humans, now I am off to bed.

I wouldn't do dex unless you induce. It is an immune suppressant. It can sometimes induce labor on it's own, but its not as reliable as lute.
Sorry for the troubles. I hope she stands again after kidding. Wonder how many she's got in there?

I think she has a herd in there!
She's still eating and hydrated, but I'm going to induce. She's due in a week, but I don't think she'll be able to walk if we leave her much longer.
So it's 2cc dex and how many lute? And it takes up to 25 hours... Trying to time this so she won't go before we get home, but I suppose that's impossible.

Poor Nomo. I really believe multiples are a sign of healthy goats (not selective breeding or overfeeding), but they certainly do carry their own set of problems.

Prayers for you both, Ivy!
I don't breed for multiples(I'm just as likely to keep a single as a triplet) and I don't feed *any* grain or rich hays at breeding season. I do make sure their mineral needs are met and they are on full browse and grass hay. I still get triplets and the occasional set of quads. Usually with no trouble whatsoever. In fact, the biggest troubles I've had over the last 15 years is when a doe tries to have a big single. I've never had any issues with the quads.
Now, that said, my favorites are twins and triplet births. They are not hard, they give me a good return on my investment, and they are just fun. Quads and over.....they *can* be just a little too hard on the does for my liking. I personally have never had troubles with quads, but I know people that have, and it always makes me a little nervous when quads make their appearance. But multiple births, they are a good thing here.

Jlynn, I didn't want to wait. She's been on her butt too long.
She should kid out some time this evening into the morning.

Hoping she kids easily and soon. I once had a straggler go 54hrs after induction... She is stubborn in all ways. But, by far the majority go between 24-36hrs I think, and I doubt she has cause to be stubborn lol. She'll probably be relieved! Hoping for a good update.

Ivy, you know if you need me, just call. Day or night, or in between.

THanks, Everyone!
Emily, I was going to text you. I'll do it now. (No, it's not about goats. Not directly. It's about meeting @ Shetler's on Saturday for/with Loretta.)

I fear we may wind up with a straggler like Dona's.
Nuthin'.
Well, not exactly nuthin'. Nuthin' from Nomo. When I went out to check on her, though, her sister Nev was all in my face, wanting to be cuddled like a puppy. This is sumthin', b/c Nev is not a cuddly goat.
She's also not due for 2 more weeks, so I imagine she'll be all sweet and nice until it's time to get on the stand and share her milk. LOL
Gonna go try to grab some sleep. Still have to get to work in the morning.
