Big thanks @mygoat, @goatkid and @cygnet ! Since Eli had some green slime in her stool last Friday I went to the vet and they tested her. Turns out she had some kind of roundworm and Coccidia. They gave her a warmer at the clinic and gave me some Albon to give to her for five days starting the day after my visit (I am on day 4 of giving her the Albon).

She has been doing well the last few days and pooped some proper little goat balls, however, this afternoon her stool was bright yellow (turned into dark green as soon as it dried), runny and mucus like.

This worried me and so I called the vet. The vet says to give her the fifth dose of albon tomorrow and if it doesn't get better after that to come back in so he can retest her...

I took her temperature and it's normal (102.4), she has been eating lots of weeds outside and has been drinking milk normally...

What do you guys think? Should I be worried?

Also, thanks for the baking soda tip Goatkid.

And cygnet, The hunter was hunting feral goats, quite a normal thing here on Maui. And I've had to little goat in with our other two goats for an hour each day and I hope she can live with them as soon as she is strong and healthy enough.

Cygnet, do you have any thoughts on her yellow slimy stool from yesterday afternoon? Since she has pooped only once (usually about 3-4 times in the same time frame) and it was more like brown pebbles again but with the slime in between..

Mygoat, what is your take on my question from yesterday please? You seem to have a lot of experience
