I'm glad their big babies. My 23 month old grandbabies, were big babies. Thier poor mom went 9 days past her due date then had a 10 pound boy and a 10 pound 10 oz girl.

Wow, myheaven, so you've had 9 living and 7 that you've lost? I'm so sorry for your losses.

You're right.

I know this song so well because my name IRL is Ivy.

You know, Pony, you and I should write a book about all the important stuff that we know. It saddens me everyday to see how these young people are losing sight of what is really important in life...like how great you and I are for instance!!! lol
Hey, they had the shower for the twins today...it was really fun and the kids got lots of wonderful stuff all in 2's. Believe it or not there were two moms there who are the mothers of twins right now...one of two boys age 4 and one of two girls age 3. They both seemed positive that Jo will be IN BED by the first of February!! Both delivered naturally...no C-section...but both were in bed from about week 28 to full term. None of us care as long as everything is OK...keep them in your prayers, please.

Yep. Both of the ladies who have twins were put on bed rest and our Jo has already been told by her physician that that will probably be the case with her. She looks great! Her weight gain is right on (according to the same Dr). She is not experiencing ANY pain or difficulty of any kind. She is bigger than our other daughter or daughter in laws were at this same stage of the game...and as I mentioned earlier, the twins are said by the Dr. to be large at this stage. I never carried twins so do not have any experience to relate myself but the ladies seemed quite confident that this will happen...maybe it is just common with multiple births???

it is common with twins to be larger. I was huge when I had mine. they were 5lbs 15Oz and 4lbs 11Oz . The ultrasound showed them both at over 7 lbs each. I had mine natUral also. no drugs no c section. both of mine were head down.

LOL! You are so sweet and silly!

And of course, your Jo, your son, and the twins have my prayers for an uneventful duration of the pregnancy, an uneventful delivery, and babies that sleep on a regular schedule.
