So glad you were there. Yes, 4 months old poor Juna is too young to take on a pitt/chow mix but she will be able to pretty soon!
I'd definitely be talking to the dog's owner & making sure the dog needs to stay off your property or I'd would have a gun & would be no problem for me to "SSS".
Since getting our LGD's & after I knew they were grown enough I have never worried about predators getting my goats.
It will be such a relief for you when Juna grows into her "own".

right now she is everywhere, she follows me about the farm, she watches the chickens and ducks, is good with the goats when we are with them, she is a little hard on the cats and kitten loves chasing them. She sleeps up by the house but this is okay because the goat house is near. Snickers one of my horses is okay with her while I am around but Snickers just doesn't like canines period. " Leave it" is the first command she has learned. She wants to play with the little dogs but they get grumpy and snappy at her, she plays with my aussie just wish my aussie would stay on property I would let her run. I am raising her as an all stock LGD so she basically has the run of the farm.
