We have 2 goats and have had success with 1) a blue food grade 55 gallon barrel with 2 key holes cut from the sides. That is in the covered shelter outside with a lid. In the barn stall, we screwed two cat litter buckets to a board and mounted it so they don't tip the whole thing over. Key holes in each bucket with the flip up tops for refilling.
