What do you feed your goats?

I feed my dry Nigerians free choice grass hay and browse. They get a bit of alfalfa pellets to get them into the barn at night. Milking does get more alfalfa pellets and a small amount of oats with a topdressing of black oil sunflower seeds on the milk stand.

Free range browse (juniper, oak, mesquite, yucca, weeds, stickers, etc) supplemented by alfalfa and grass hay.

My 2 dry does get a scoop of goat pellets in the morning and then have free grazing time from late afternoon to dusk. This system seems to keep them from always looking bloated from over eating. I have 1 tree that we are planning on cutting down. Decided to take it down 1 branch at a time. Everyday I cut a branch and the girls strip it clean bark and all.

Right now: Goat pellets, top dressed with black oil sunflower seeds, alfalfa pellets. Loose goat mineral, baking soda free choice. Browse all day. Was giving hay but they weren't touching it. And Replamin Plus 2x a month
my lactating doe gets dairy goat pellets with boss on the stand. and all the rest of the stuff

Winter: Goat pellets, top dressed with black oil sunflower seeds, alfalfa pellets. Loose goat mineral, baking soda free choice. Hay
And Replamin Plus every week.
