What breed do you think these are?

I bought the buckling even though I have some serious reservations. I figure with how few pygmys there are in the area, I can sell it again when it is older if it doesn't work out.

The farm I went to had about 30 or so pygmy and Nigerian dwarf goats. My reservation is simply that my does are 2-3x bigger than a full grown pygmy buck, based on what I saw on the farm. I guess I just expected that they would be bigger. I have concluded that my goats are smaller than a typical alpine, but they are WAY bigger than Nigerian dwarfs and pygmys.

If he's a healthy fertile guy he should be able to make babies with them anyway

This little buckling died a while ago. Made a thread about it and ended up buying a nubian buckling. I also ultimately decided that my goats probably don't have any nigerian dwarf in them as they are around 100 pounds at a year old. I think they are more alpine than anything with a little bit of nubian in them several generations back.
