I was too. I was getting worried about her having to many in there. I still am betting on Quads.

I agree with upping her feed to keep up. Had I realized just how many kids Clover had, I would have taken care to make sure she was getting adequate intake for kid growth. I might have had more live kids.

Tho, that said, I am going to laugh when your poor doe ends up only having two huge bucks. Well, not laugh but maybe chuckle while sympathizing with the doe.

If she does have more than 4...be prepared for her to kid early. Just keep telling her to keep her hind legs crossed til her due date.

I fed her on the milk stand yesterday. I won't do that again. She about fell getting up and getting off. The puppies slept with her last night. Not a great picture. It's off my barn cam.

Shes in the kidding stall and eating everything I put in front of her. I think its a fine line. I don't want her kids to big if she don't have at least quads in there. She is still a week away.

I doubt you will grow the kids all that much if she is due in a week, and besides I really don't buy into the feeding making for huge kids much. A high protein diet probably will, though, but if your grain is low protein/whole grains/cob type, then I'm sure it's fine. I think does put food to themselves first if they need it for the most part anyway.

Nope!!!! She will move her hay into a stack in her pen and lay down beside it and munch all day. She doesn't stand for long periods. Evidentially she drinks her water because I fill her bucket daily. I've been feeding her 16% dairy pellets in her stall. The last time I tried feeding her on the milk stand, she fell and looked up at me to help her up. She had fell on her back legs and was pinned beside the stand. I spun her around and rolled her over and helped her stand. She jumped right on that stand. After that, no more jumping. She's not even leaving the stall until after kidding is over. I have to leave town for 5 days beginning Friday morning. Her first due date is today. The second due date is March 10. Hoping she kids todY. Going to hate leaving her with my wife but I have to pay the bills and this convention is a National Grain Elevator one and I can't miss it. I'll make the company several hundred thousand dollars by the contacts I will meet at this show. Not to mention the moolah that I will make. If she doesn't kid today, I'm going to ask for some favors while I'm gone from goat people that are close and from the vet I use.

Hope she goes soon for you, she looks like she is going to bust!
We have a doozy of a storm coming through started today for the next 24 hours, not sure if it's coming through your area but I hope she doesn't go in the middle of the storm.
