Paula... I posted these pics on fb the other day.. everyone was pretty much in agreement.. that at this point in time.. Bill E. G. Is the most dairy.. so much changes at this age.. they all are different enough bloodline wise.. it's hard to know how the other 3 will end up.. I'm guessing nice (or I wouldn't still have them all LOL).. Bill E. G comes from mostly brown.. I've never gotten anything from his dam, but brown base. even when I bred her to almost all black Journey.. I got one dark brown solid ear doe and a light almost buckskin one (who darkened to a brown).. Bill E G's dam Twyla is a nice doe. Her dam is an SG doe (still going strong at almost 10 years).. she LA'ed 90 VVEE..her sire is one of my favorite bucks +*B SCGH Copper-Hill Breakaway's Sonset La 91EEEE.. I loved the kids I got from Twyla and Edge last year (Bill E.G.. his sisters Roux and a spotted doe I sold)... BUT.. I have high hopes for this year with Walker (whose bloodlines should compliment her's just as well, if not better.. doubt we'll get spots.. but that's not where my interest really lay).. We should know for sure if we'll ever get black out of Twyla or not this time.. it will be the 3rd black based buck she's been bred to.. if they are all brown based.. that will probably be my answer LOL
Gloomy is eye-catching.. not so much in the picture I posted.. she's at the combo of winter hairy and pregant.. I like the slick shiny.. summer Gloomy.. where she's up on her pasterns better and just better blended looking..

Soaking wet and wormy I bet she looks better than most! lol
Well, maybe I will have to get a FB account. I really do NOT want to...but I cannot get on any of the ones I want to follow without a PERSONAL account unless the person has a conduit on their website.. Our FB page is a BUSINESS page through the VistaPrint people. It doesn't work for the personal stuff. I had one at one time, but closed it because I thought that would help me stick to just business on the Vista one...Anyway, I didn't know that you had put that up...sorry! He is a real looker. The other boys are great, too.
Cannot wait to see your Saada kids. This is so exciting!

*gulp*....yes I would like a little long eared spotted doe kid. I am not to picky about who she is from because I love all your does. I would prefer a kid out of a quieter doe . Oh and sweet .

Kansas.. more then likely.. esp if we hit tulsa area first.. cause I'll need to head up to CO. before we go too far west.. (Hubby and I are talking about just doing this every spring.. taking trips cross country to deliver kids.. sometimes west. sometimes north (I get a lot of upstate NY folks inquiring about kids).. deep south.. west ward trips will go on for several years in a row (I plan on buying more kids for myself out that direction).. hubby loves to travel (but, we've been just about everyplace we've ever wanted to go in the US on vacations.. done all the weird, wilder stuff when we were younger .. read that to mean.. less fat, less creaky LOL.. so just spending time together riding along seeing the sites from the truck window.. works for me now LOL... he's gone so much of the time (truck driver). that we'll take the kid trips so we can spend time together each spring, before his busy season hits.

at least your trip isn't TOO horrid of a drive... I've gotten where I met a lot of folks in towns that are an hour or two from me.. (can't be gone too long .. have to drive somewhere and back within a span of 5 or less hours.. so we can bottle and milk and such.. too many *needy* babies to leave for long).. I usually meet people every year in West Plains (that saves them almost 80miles round trip).. we also seem to drive to springfield/rogersville with kids each year.. Batesville and Mt Home in AR. are usual meeting spots.. Doniphan.. Cabool.. we do get around, don't we? LOL..

we sell out fast most years.. If we have an avg.. doe to buck ration year (50% / 50% of each)..then I'm probably close to already reserved for doelings.. and mostly there for bucklings.. esp.. Spotted ones.. never know what kind of year it will be, colorwise/sex wise until kidding gets going.. (the four we had born last week .. I'm keeping the blue one.. the other 3 have already sold..so they usually go fast)
