you know Justine.. one must be ever careful what they post online.. never know who might read it LOL.. (or what plans that reader may have)... IF, I get the *perfect for her* buck kid born this kidding season.. plans are for hubby and I to drive on over into Oregon to deliver him to my buyer... which means YOU too could have you own long eared spotted up addition

just saying....

We haven't really planned our entire route out yet.... A lot of the where we go will depend on where buyers live. (The trip is to pick up kids for my herd... When will depend on when the kids I'm buying are ready to leave). Hubby is a trucker, so he will be doing the driving. I just riding along. Tulsa could be worked in, I'm sure for gas money

Uh, it sounds to me like Susie may need another trailer on that truck to carry all the deliveries along the way! Does sound like fun though...just meeting HT friends and taking babies to good homes. Hubby does all the driving...Susie gets to rest. Hmmmm, maybe we should all go...?

I am looking seriously at kids or milkers from Dill's (Nigerian herd located in Chelsea, OK. When are the kids due that you are buying? Where are they from? Dill's likes to get sold goats moved out in like 30 days after they post them for sale, so it'd all have to work out time-wise I'm guessing; though I bet I could work something out if I have a date when it is closer. Could you pm me with what you think the cost of transporting either milker or bottle kid(s) to Idaho (or as far west as you are going)?

Okay, thanks Susie! I do have a reservation to a local herd, so I will have to see what pans out, but I'd like to get something from Dill's and if it works out for transport, that would be really awesome!

Susie when about would you be making the trip? And who all is due when? I am very seriously tempted on having you bring me a doe kid. What part of Oregon are you traveling to?

Justine.. I will know more once I hear back from Laura (Saada in WY).. I'm picking up kids from her.. not sure of due dates on her end.. My Oregon buyer is outside of a town called Merlin.. (she is wanting a spotted show quality buck out of Nite or Dill or Olive.. so we have fingers and toes crossed for a nice one for her)... all due mid feb

I will post my breeding schedule tomorrow.. it's 1am and this fat ol' gal is to sleepy to try to write it all out now.. it would be just gibberish LOL

okay... I *THINK* I've got all the spring kidding does/due dates on here.. I have A LOT of reserves already .. both does & bucks.. (BUT.. I don't take deposits, nor do I very often take reserves for doelings out of specific does).. so that's gives me a lot of leeway to sort of pick and choose who I sell and to whom)
So, Justine.. IF you really want a long ear.. we'll get ya a long ear.. (wish I had specific travel dates and such... I need at least one solid ear-red doeling to take to CO. and the buck for OR.. sure there's room for more on the trip) I know we'll be making the trip before too late in the spring.. Ed's (the hubby) busy season starts the end of May.. I'm guessing late april/early may..

Leila .. due Jan 9th.. bred to Edge
Lottie.. due Jan 11th bred to Cold

Nite … due feb 5th.. bred to Edge
Amelia.. due feb6 th.. bred to Walker

Dill.. due feb 6th.. bred to Edge

Olive due feb 7th..bred to Edge

Rizzo due on feb9th.. bred to Edge

Ruthie due feb 10th.. bred to Edge

Gimme due feb 11th .. bred to Edge
Jewel due feb 11th ..bred to Edge
Bones due feb 11th.. bred to Giles

Crow due feb 12th.. bred to Walker
Eve due feb 12th.. bred to Edge
Smoochie due feb 12th.. bred to Walker
Styx due feb 12th.. bred to Edge

Lydia due feb13th.. bred to Edge

Twyla due feb15th.. bred to Walker

Divinity due feb 19th.. bred to Walker
Giada due feb 19th..bred to Edge
Ella due feb 19th.. bred to Edge

Gloomy due Mar23rd.. bred to Giles (Giles is one of the 1/2 Saada bucks)

Desi due Apr 20th.. bred to Edge (Desi isn't on the website yet.. she's the dam to the yearling that cut her tendons.. She is a GCH Price-of-the-Field Royal Marcus daughter.. her dam was Bluff-Top, Copper-Hill, Foxwood.. she is black with frosted ears/muzzle no tan)

HEHEHE>> YES, I did use Mr. Edge on a LOT of the girls (his bloodlines mixes so well with my girls..PLUS... he gives the color so many buyers are wanting to add to their own herd.. My goal is to breed him at least ONCE to every doe I own (I've yet to get kids that I wouldn't do a repeat breeding to him).. time will tell if he makes nice babies with ALL the girls.. have the young bucks waiting in the wings for next year.. I'll use them for most of the breedings, retire Cold .. give Edge and Walker the year off..(except for a doe here or there) ... have 4 about to turn 1 year olds.. AND.. I just kept the blue roan boy.. AND..I've got a saada buckling reserved as well... I'm not going to be short on buck choices am I? LOL

here are the new boys.. they are all filling out & maturing.. Granted, they are all also very hairy..just a few pics jess took while taking belly photos of the does.... adding one of the doe pics.. I just now noticed poor Lydia in the background getting a drink.. she still had a month to go..

Eli is the one covered in the big spots.. Boaz is the black roan with the belly band.. Gile blk with small white spots (lot more spots when he's in summer coat).. and Bill E. Gumbo.. my keeper buck for 2013..

Beautiful boys, Susie! It may be the pictures or just me, but is your keeper Bill the most dairy of the group? Does he have any black in his background? I know I am weird loving the brown...we really need to get some black here...but he immediately took my eye! It is probably the color.
