If you like cows' milk, you'll surely like goats' milk. Properly chilled (quickly!) and obtained under CLEAN conditions, it is delicious and does NOT have a *goaty* taste.

Some does can give a goaty bad flavor wether you take "good care" of the milk or not. Some breeds have different tasting milk, because of the amount of cream it contains. Like I can't stand Nigerian milk and think it tastes terrible... but Nubian milk, I'm all for it.

Got get yerself some goats if you want. LOL. They are little gifts from God.

Once I figured this out and kept them away from edibles that changed the milk flavor, I LOVED it! YUMMY!

Oh....looks like I am going to be a nubian kinda gal! I've been lurking here in the goat forum for a while. I used to raise llamas, and I miss them. Goats would be a little more "useful"! (and no one will get spit on!) ROFL

OMG. OMG. OMG. I'm over here simply dying of cuteness overload. Some one save me and send that baby my way! I'm sure I could find somewhere to put him... Tell my neighbors he's a new dog... make him a little stall in my closet.

I LOVE that Mama photobomb, like she's just making sure you're only taking pictures and not him. <3

FarmChix - I have an alpaca girl that is a bad spitter and it's the deep, stomach acid/mucus spits. She's cooled it with me but only after I started spitting back and got good aim. But back when I first got her, a few days in she got me right in the nose and mouth. I was overwhelmed. It was in my mouth. Now, I don't gross out easy. I had a cpr mask malfunction on me once letting vomit from someone else get in my mouth. But that rancid alpaca spit had me running for the garden hose heaving. LOL I can laugh now but nothing was funny at the time. None of them spit at me anymore..at least not to my face. I was told recently when getting my mail at the post office that I had a green ball in my hair soooo.... lol
