Thank you everybody! Glad you could see them Minelson
Well, Nancy, I just figured for city people they probably don't want to stare at all the stuff coming out of her you know what LOL. I love birth pics though so I wouldn't care!
Oh, and my goodness, obviously people have been reading my blog and looking at all his pictures. Went to a party tonight and everyone was talking about "the new baby goat" and how those pictures were just absolutely disgusting, or when I asked if they wanted to see them, it was a firm, "Oh NO, ew no way!"
Great pictures & the 1st one of him all dried off & laying down is absolutely my favorite, I just want to pick him up & snuggle him.
I'm always partial to the boys too for some reason, I'd have a zillion wethers around here if it wasn't for my hubby.
Thank you guys. The first picture is also my favorite. I have never kept a wether but looks like that will change!
He is doing great and will get up on your lap and sniff you, he's actually super personable and sweet. When you leave and talk to him he starts jumping around like crazy, lol
Eli has picked a "Favorite side" so Hazel's udder was engorged. We milked her out some and will probably have to continue doing that.
He is SO cute! His momma is now a scaredy goat but he will go up to anything. Without Hazel! He hops and kicks and runs around chasing you, oh goodness he is cute. His little face is super fluffy too, I just love giving him kisses on his cheeks. So, Eli is doing GREAT and I am now looking forward to Alice and Betty kidding!
He is precious! I had a Nubian buckling named Eli. Whenever he ran up to the feed trough I would sing "Eli's coming, hide your grain girls!" Let's see if anyone's old enough to recognize that song...

I'm not old. I just have eclectic taste in music.

If I even *suspect* milk fever, they get 30cc (orally) of either CMPK drench or MFO drench. The MFO has dextrose, too. Must taste pretty good, as they don't fight it. MILk fever or not, it surely does not harm them. I feel it's better to be safe than sorry.
