Oh goodness you guys are stressing me out, LOL

I have decided to do a night check and see if the symptoms have gone away. I think she just had a pain splurge. I don't think it's anything.

I love the name Flynn for him! (ot: When my middle boy saw his first lighthouse when we went to visit my parent's in CA he cried because he had seen tangled _alot_ we drove from FL and the car dvd player sawa a lot of use. He wanted to go see Rapunzel in her tower!)

Did you weigh him? Curious how much he weighed after that long of a gestation and being a single.

Thanks everybody.

I did not weigh him because I don't have a good scale. Last time she had twins, they were almost 5 pounds each.

He's a cute little guy. I was going to throw Ninga out for a name after watching your video. Eli a great name for him.

I'd give her your liquid CMPK too, won't hurt her. Give her about 20cc orally, she'll Love it & drink it right down.
Also don't forget to worm her.
That little guy is adorable!
I like the name Finn too but also Finley fits him as well.

Eli is ok. Finn is the best.

Keep those pics! That's a wonderful series of how birth is SUPPOSED to go.

LOL Alice

My whole family can't stand Finn... too common or something. lol

I will give her some CMPK this morning and probably worm her too.

I am CERTAINLY going to keep those pics, I was so happy to catch it and have a camera on hand! Especially because I missed it last time. I have not been present for a correct birth ever.

I've had 2 doelings. One always looked fine when I went checked her at night and in the morning had 1 or 2 babies. Like "Oh, hey. It's OK. I just had some babies..." and the other one I thought was a hysterical pregnancy and she had TWINS right after I checked on the one who had her baby that morning. Consider yourself VERY lucky to catch that birth on film!

My Snubian wether is the most tame and calm goat in my herd! I guess when you don't have to worry about freezing your bits off life is easier!

As for the baby....I'm dying of Cuteness Overload! Errrr....I mean....I think he's ugly and going to be a trouble maker. Better send him to my house and I guess I'll put up with him.... LOL

Thanks guys!

I know I am very lucky that I caught it! I have been checking over and over again, sleeping in the barn so that I would hear it, and when I walked in the barn at around 11:00 and saw her contacting, I was ecstatic. I was NOT leaving that chair until we have a baby out, LOL

Eli is doing great this morning and looks like he's already grown 2 pounds, lol. He is a huge baby and his mama absolutely LOVES HIM. She heard someone walking in the barn and snorted to protect him... overboard is okay. lol

I am uploading pictures right now of him and mama.

Oh, okay, here they are. He's a nursing machine!

DARN IT now Eli is shaking... what could that be?

There's something to be said about a mother goat raising her baby. He's stunning!

Yes, there is! It's so sweet how they love each other so much!

Thank you.

I went out to check on him and he's definitely not shaking. I don't know why my sister told me that. Well, I guess he was but stopped. Dunno. I held him and he fell sleep in my arms while mama ate her food, he had his lip up while he slept!

He doesn't like molasses but his momma sure does!
