Yeah, I'm trying not to assume, LOL. Especially since she broke out of her kidding pen to BE with the herd. :/

nehimama, isn't it cool? I love that video, I watch it over and over again, lol

Well, all I know was that she was getting the babies into position by stretching. She stopped now, but we'll see what happens. She's a nigerian dwarf on Day 154 and I am going crazy. lol

Well, as for the side debate, goats do have 2 uterine horns. Babies can be in either horn or both horns. It is just easier to feel them on the other side of the rumen, so as to not confuse rumen movement with babies. Normally, each horn will only carry up to 3 babies, same with a placenta up to 3 kids per.

Now, I have had 2 instances where a ND delivered 4 babies and only 1 placenta. Same goat. We stretched it out and found 4 umbilical placentas. Unfortunately, no photos.

She sounds like she is getting close. Is it possible she was bred on the next cycle? I see you said she broke out but thought I would as about the next cycle anyway. If not I would watch her close. Mine usually go about 145, so I would watch for larger kids.

Yes, like rabbits, lol
I've just always gone with the flow of other's beliefs that babies somehow can't be on the left, haha.

No, there isn't. She had kids on day 151 last year so she is a late kidder. I am preparing for assistance but she is a great mom too and already stretched out. She'll prolly have one huge buckling. LOL

That makes sense about the 2 uterine horns. I was thinking in black and white (as usual). Thanks Punchiepal
As far as the babies go...I think it's going to happen really soon with all that movement! But who knows...I thought babies were always ONLY on the right too LOL!
Keep us posted!

Nothing yet. I'M GOING INSANE. Now I understand why people induce their goats, lol

I literally just want to reach in there and pull them out. I am going crazy. Not going to check her throughout the night because she doesn't look close. If she has them without me... oh well!n She doesn't seem willing to do it while I'm with her at all, lol

Oh you're so nice Min.

Not throughout the night. Honestly, part of it is that outside really freaks me out. Barn is quite a ways a way.

I know it sounds silly to be afraid of your own place, but oh well! LOL

As soon as I can buy one. Not a dog, I have enough of those, they just wouldn't follow me.

Decided to leave her alone for a while while I take a break from goat watch! Been watching her for an hour or two. She is just staring at the corner, and yawning. She seemed to be having contractions or pushing 2 hours ago but she stopped. She has also not yawned for the last hour, lol

I'm very excited and just can't wait. I really hope this is labor. She also didn't get up after me messing with her for about 10 minutes, she would NOT get up. Which she has never done before. 2 times she did the flehmen lip. We'll see, folks.

Sounds silly writing it down, lol, but she is acting a little off.

Have you gone in to check the position. My rule is if they push for 5 pushes with out progress it's time to lube up and see what's wrong.

Oh, no, because I wasn't there and she definitely wasn't serious. Kinda like she was squatting to pee but not peeing? I was just told this.

If she gets down and serious about it then I will go in, but her ligs haven't fully disappeared so I'm not worried.

I have had a goat never loose her ligaments and drop twins as I yelled at the kids " it'll be a while yet" goats and their code! That stick to it.
