My buck now lives 5 miles away.

He smells a lot better from here. LOL!

Actually, he was too closely related to everyone but Trub, so I had to do something. <sigh>

The problem with me having 3 bucks is that I only have 4 does and a doeling right now. I'm retaining several does in the spring, and bringing in a few too. I love my main buck, and next fall I'm taking at least one of my does to visit another buck a few hours north of me.

I have 3 adult bucks (Cold, Edge & Walker)... then the 3 bucklings I got in GA. Giles, Eli & Boaz and the one I kept from my own breedings this spring.. Billy E. Gumbo.. so what is that 7??? (I have one on reserve from SAADA for spring, which means I'll have to keep back at least one of my spring bucklings to keep that one company.. Do I NEED??? 8 to 9 bucks.. probably not, but I'm thinking about putting Cold into at least semi-retirement (he has a rear knee that gives him issues sometimes..esp if he breeds a lot of girls)..I'm not using Edge much (if at all) next year.. will use the 3 amigos to replace Edge in the line up. (switching back to Edge the next year).. I happen to think Walker is the nicest buck we've ever bred, love his kids.. so he's here for a long time too.. Hubby heard my plans and knows there are more bucks then usual here now (I usually only have 2 or 3).. so nice man that he is... he offered to build me another buck barn to house the younger guys when they are old enough to go live in, fort buckingham (what I call our fortified buck pen LOL)..

so what do I win??? hmmm??? crazy goat lady wants a prize hehehehe (bet I have some of the *smellier* air in these parts)... just realized Emily may have me beat.. she has not only several nubian bucks, but also lamancha bucks..

I have 3 bucks also. Well, OK. Two bucks and a buckling. One of the bucks is out to stud right now, so that leaves only one adult buck with the ladies. I think all of them are already bred, so things are not too wild at the moment. I have four angora does and two saanen does, and all the bucks are different colors of angoras. All the angoras are up for sale this year.

I took this pic today of my angora bucks duking it out. When the white one had enough, I waited by the gate to help him make his escape.

I already had the kitten thing. I just had 4 females fixed. 11 cats total here. 4 in the house.

I expect I'll have mostly doelings. I'm just lucky that way. I also plan on putting several bucklings in the freezer.

Three adult does, two doelings to be bred this year. Two adult bucks, and three bucklings, two of which have already been used. Oy. I'm taking these boys for AI collection in December, and then there will be a clearance sale!

I have 3 Saanen bucks and one Guernsey buckling. When I pen breed, I always bring one buck out into a pen by himself, and then put the doe in with him.
