Thanks Min! That's my natural hair color, it looks like that after I my hair dries. I NEVER use a hair dryer unless ABSOLUTELY nessasary. I also hardly ever straighten it. So, that might add the the shiny-ness. I always use conditioner in the shower and leave in conditioner after. It used to be down beneath my ribs, but I cut it off. It wasn't curly when it was long because it was so weighed down! So yes, I did the awful thing of cutting it off. Wearing hoop earrings and having little woop-de-doo hair makes me happy though, LOL.
I've never worn slippers... very rarely do I even wear flip flops. If I really have to, I will put some flip flops on to go somewhere. I walked over to my city neighbors house with no shoes on, they were all like, "What the heck Grace, what are you doing?!". Haha. Hehe.

I'm nearly always barefoot inside, but never outside. Between stinging insects, glass, snakes and briars, shoes seem like a good idea to me. I keep an old galvanized tub in the mudroom just to corral all the outdoor shoes: flipflops, duck boots, hiking boots, and wellies

Used to go barefoot. Then the doctor neighbor peeled a parasite from her son's foot. Ugh. We wear shoes always now.

Heck no. I'll wander around in the yard and garden and dirt without shoes but no way you're catching me in the barn or pasture without boots on. I have tender feet!

Shoes outside always. I also have tender feet, and I really would rather not step in chicken, goat or guinea poop. Plus too much stuff around here that stings, bites or impales.

I think it's cool that I even had a chance to be "that kind of girl"! I moved to the country from the "big city" about 4 years ago, never looked back. Good Lord am I thankful for that decision.
I know what you mean, though. I have hardly any friends "my age" as I can't find anyone that is like that. All city girls. *sigh* Someday we'll all be Amish, right? LOL just kidding. I know a whole lot more about farming than most people 20 years older than me, I can tell you that. BUT I'm also terrible at Math and Social Studies... and new languages... so, yeah, I know a lot more about one thing than most, but I know a lot of people who know a lot more about something else than me. Not too much to brag about.

No bare feet for me. Feets are just too tender, I guess! I live in Crocs when I'm outside doing normal chores. They are great, unless it's wet. I've slipped and fallen on more than one occasion. In spite of that, I still like them for the convenience and ability to just hose them off.

I have neuropathy in my feet. Therefore no bare feet outside. Hurts too much. Even walking on something as smooth as asphalt or concrete. Grass is ok but dry grass is killer.

Many people don't, you're right. It's tough but lovely to live this life. I would literally go into depression if I had to move back to the city.

Crocs. I wear those all the time for chores, too. Genius, whoever invented them. I don't think they have cows, though.

Muhahahaha... okay, my hair and outfit really bugged me in that last pic... so here is me with my kitty, Dot. And yes, I shall now reveal... IT'S A BB GUN... Lol, I don't like shooting "the big loud guns" unless I have to. So yes, I use a BB gun a lot to target practice. Also because it doesn't scare the goats or rabbits.

That's either a big kitty, or you're tiny! lol.
My boyfriend already has a BB gun. That's a good idea.

Choice 2. LOL, I am tiny, really. About 5' 3 1/2'. Not even 120 lbs, LOL.
I love my BB gun. Always wanted one when I was a kid. So, hey, I got one, NOW! Haha. It's fun to just go and shoot ice cream buckets with it, olus no one gets fed up with the noise that doesn't exist. All in all, I like it.
Also have BB pistol, haha. That one is HARD to use.
