You really don't need to paint PT wood do you? Make sure its good and dry first, sometimes that stuff is pretty wet when first purchased.
oh no.. I could leave the barns all natural.. they would just slowly weather to a grayish color.... but I've got lots of cans of red paint.. so I'll do them like the other barns.. just for visual continuity... the PT decking boards did arrive pretty soggy.. BUT.. we've had them for over a year before we used them (just kept them banded and laying flat).. they dried out well and all of them were nice & straight.. so, the drought last year actually helped the boards..

I am assuming "PT" = penta (Pentachlorphenol) treated?
