Depression can be a downward spiral. People that face it often know they are blessed and the thought that they have many things to be joyous about, can make them more depressed. "Cheer up" is a nice sentiment, but when you know it is the right thing to do and can't it is even more of a downer.... people saying it just makes one feel guilty.
Pony, it is a beautiful day with nice sunshine outside. I know that if you are depressed, it is not simply feeling sorry for yourself, but it is something you are fighting. Sometimes the fighting makes it all the worse. You know God loves you... don't need anyone to tell you that. You may feel like you are letting Him down being sad with out a Big reason. He has always accepted you the way you are; good points bad points.... like a husband "in sickness and in health". Living here sucks sometimes.
The whys don't really matter. You are a helpful friend and encouragement to many people on HT and around your area. We love you for it. Your humor cheers our day, your kindness and friendliness is uplifting to our lives. You choose to be there for others no matter the emotional toll it takes on you.
We will wait and pray with you till the happiness returns.
