The new property adjoins Lonnie's (now owned by the Trust that I manage) on the north side of Lonnie's driveway, and the Cabin property is to the west side of the new piece. If you put the three properties together, it would be a big square.

The property I bought belonged to LouAnn Purcell who works for Armstrong Flooring in West Plains and (Casey) Pete Davis, who worked off and on for the City of Alton. He now lives in Pennsylvania.

If someone wants to get it and rent me a bedroom or an RV spot, that might work but I can't justify spending that much and having that big of a house for just me. My kids just moved to their dad's house in Wyoming.

Someone put in an offer for all of my animals and as much I hate to lose them, I think I will just take it and move into an apartment. I can work on saving money to buy some land in a few years.

Thank you for the information Alice. Thank you to everyone that I have learned so much from on this forum.

I forgot to say that it is only 10 miles to a location that I could transfer to for work. I have such mixed emotions about selling my animals and now the guy says his truck broke down. Making me rethink some things.

Oh goodness that sounds wonderful! I truly hate Wisconsin and can't afford Montana where my mom is. It'd be absolutely wonderful to live by all you and then tell my husband .... well, off to go with my goatie friends, where as now I sit home by myself and the animals while he runs around with all his mechanic friends doing stuff. hehe

Seems that fate is trying to tell you something Aimee.

I would absolutely love to move there but I am rather stuck here with my mother, can't leave her here by herself with her medical issues and she will be like this for the rest of her life.

If I can find the right place for what I want to raise in the area, I will get it in a NY minute. The neighbors and people can't be beat. There are few codes or limitations for raising animals. There are many people with the same mindset as those of us on HT. This area, like most of southern Missouri is great for goats.
