What's a small dose? 10cc?

actually the 40% injectable is used enough in cattle.. quite a few farm type stores will have it on the shelf.. (Hirsch's in West Plains & Thayer both carry it)

most vets will sell you a bag of Lactated Ringer's solution.. I just put in under the skin, between the shoulders.. making a big *buffalo* type hump.. it slowly absorbs into their system, without being instantly poo'ed out like something given orally ... a little banamine (Rx from the vet's or folks who have lots of horses will usually have it).. will also help smooth out his gut and make him feel a lot better..

sounds like you are getting right on top of things...that's good

I'm picking up some stuff at Hirsh's tomorrow. It's an hour away. The only thing I can find in Mountain Home is Corid.

Well his stomachs are gurgling. He's been eating leaves off the branches that I cut for him for the last few hours. He's still wiggling his tail and running after me. He seems to be doing better. I think his runs may of stopped. Will check on him before bed and first thing tomorrow.

I had the same problem with my Nubians at about 3-4 months.
I dewormed them, then fed them only hay and browse for about 5 days. Make sure they have tons of water, it should clear up by day 6 after the worm treatment. I used ivermectin.

Heading to the vet with the little buckling. I have a 3 year old that has soft poo this morning. Going to get this figured out before I have 8 sick goats.
