Oh Susie, I am so sorry. Is there any explanation as to why she went down so quickly?

We'll never know for sure what caused her death.... but SOMETHING (maybe the same thing?) that caused her to barely weigh 2lbs at birth (her litter brothers were 9lb & 8lb)... something may just not have been *right inside*.. she was just at the age where she was beginning to eat food (and not just bottles).. I'm guessing a gut issue/anomaly of some sort (the way she played with her pen mates).. maybe something twisted even... I'll never know... putting her down was sad (and shocking.. she got bad so fast) I didn't have it in me at midnight.. to go *digging* around inside to see if I saw something weird/odd.

again, thank you all for being so sweet (poor Jess, she made a bottle for her yesterday morning.. just forgot.. so there was a sad left over bottle at the end of feeding)

susie, mo ozarks
