Yarrow, my dad always used to cut every grapevine he could find because he had a cow get caught on some and she ended up dying before he found her.

Our LGD was hanging out in the area where Tulip was but she wasn't right with her. She would have been easy to see but a black goat under thick limbs and leaves was hard to see. Thank the good Lord above that she answered me today.

She is resting now and I will check out the swelling and abrasions more at this evening milking.

As Phil Robertson (my daughter watches that silly show) would say... "HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY"

I'm so glad you found her!

So Glad you found her. Mine are always quiet a night I think instinct so they don't call in predators, that's probably what Tulip was doing too just being quiet until morning.
So glad she was not hurt & seems to be OK. They sure can give us a scare sometimes!

Just found your thread. What a terrible experience that must have been for you (and for your doe). So glad you found her and she is alive.

Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes. This family is awesome!

Her udder is pretty tender but she was very helpful and lifted her legs for me so I could see her boo boos.
