I have heard about the ACV and will try it. Yes Prep H, I just cleaned out the goat kit and had that in there from muffin great idea. She is getting another anti biotic shot this evening. She has always done fine in the past, this was her third kidding. Just went out and checked on everyone, and Zoe is up, and Miracle was nursing!!! I will go give her some more drench and put some prep H on it ..Thanks

Thanks to you guys on here and things you have discussed I was able to do things I didnt think I would EVER be able to do!!!
A MILLION THANKS!!!

Back to the barn to check on the family.
So glad all ended well.

This was my experience with pygmies too. Started out with unregistered pygmies and EVERY KIDDING included at least a minor mispresentation. I've since stopped breeding mine, too. Much easier.

Wow, you did a great job! Kudos for not giving up.

Lute opens the cervix, Oxy causes contractions. Don't give oxy unless you have given lute and are sure the cervix is open. Or unless the cervix is dilated naturally.

When we once had an exhausted doe, we called Emily (Ozark Jewels) and she recommended we try CMPK first. We used the CMPK and it picked labor right up.

So glad your story had a happy ending & I'm going to keep pulling for momma & all the babies! You did a great Job!!
Don't forget to worm her too, with all the stress of a normal kidding the worm load explodes & with a hard kidding I would think it would be just as bad or worse.

Girl, you got grit! You did a great job, saving those precious lives, despite your exhaustion and the awful difficulties. Congratulations on a job well done!

All babies are nursing and bouncing around. Momma is up and walking slow. Stepping towards our house dog is he comes near the pen. She is eating hay and some grain...hopefully she is gonna be ok. Miracle is skinner than the other two, but keeping up with them otherwise. We thought we might have broken her leg when getting her out, but she seems to be fine.

You have described what happened with my Becky. That's how the baby was positioned. We couldn't do anything. We tried for 7 hours. We lost Becky and babies in the end.
