LOL.. if the *goat pen* is the red screen/hardward cloth combo.. that is actually my Container Garden Room..(my daughter realized while it's still empty, it's the perfect place to take kids pictures.. they can't run off !!! LOL) I had a brain bleed/surgery back in the fall..it left me not able to get down and garden anymore.. so hubby built me an enclosed (no fighting with bugs/rats/rabbits/birds for my produce!)..16 x8 x8 buildling.. Still need to get the door on it.. I am growing all my tomatoes, peppers, herbs, lettuce ect in there.. (it got expensive covering it with both metal screen (so the grasshoppers don't chew it up, like they will fiberglass screen AND hardward cloth).. was afraid the barn cat or the guineas would get on top and fall thru just screen.. Hardward cloth alone left big holes for bugs to get in.. so combo it was LOL. ((I'm adding led twinkle lights inside..so I can *garden* in the cool of the evenings.. It sits right on the edge of my patio.. so I can walk out my door and get inside the garden building without stepping foot down on the dirt/rocks)).. I plan on putting on some music, pouring a glass of wine and going out to putz & pick in the dark LOL..
took a few pictures (the unpainted building behind it is my just finished milk room.. nothing fancy, but after all these years it's so nice to have a ROOM with concrete floors and DOORS.. that does no duty other then serve as a dedicated milkroom.. has a in door and a out door so does that have already milked can just go back out to the herd (and not mix back in with the waiting to milk does).. it also has a holding area near the out door, so they can finish eating there and not waste time on the milk stand.. we feel spoiled LOL (I am also a BIG TIME fan of the patio chairs my son built for me.. out of 2x4's.. big, heavy.. never blow away chairs.. makes sitting at the firepit fun..

Those little ones are SO CUTE!!! There are some very lucky HT'ers out there to be getting them. And little Luna is going to be such a balm for your heart. She's just priceless.

I can't wait for warm weather... so we can finish and paint it.. the building (made out of decking boards) at the end of the patio (next to my garden building is our PARTY BARN (the guys use it as a karaoke bar).. me?? with the propane grill with burners that's in there...I'm thinking summer kitchen for canning!!! we will be painting the barn a dark bronze-y green...
here are a few pictures of the Party Barn from the night of Jess & Zade's baby shower.. when the whole patio/building stuff started..all I wanted in the beginning was somewhere to sit and have a bonfire .. and some shade LOL.. it all sort of took on a life of it's own.. BUT>> I love it now, and know we will lots of use out of it.

we moved here to just a little oak shack and a hay barn.. nothing fancy (just a bunch of 2x4's and plywood and 10 years worth of never calling it done LOL) NOT that we have a lot of building skills.. (I did learn to use all the power tools once I got here).. Jess & I built the doe barn and kidding barn ourselves.. Hubby and son helped with the house addition.. then we added the son-in-law, so they all built the party barn/garden building/milkroom in this last go-round.. there is wood/tin ect out there now to build a whole new doe set up .. wanting to give them small barn/sheds, so I can split them into like groups... then take the walls off the big doe barn and turn that into a hay station & loafing shed... then, maybe just then I'll be finished with wanting/building LOL.. (esp. since I've decided to turn the entire front of the house & off into the north pasture/woods into a permaculture food forest!!! (it will take us YEARS upon YEARS)
