I so need to take a trip your direction. Beautiful babies from both your girls. I love the spots on Dill's boy and Ella's boy is so pretty too.

thank you ALL for the kind words.. they are cute babies.. they are the first babies out of my jr. buck Edge (some of you may remember him as a baby.. he was part of the kid group I called the Frat Boys LOL).. he and his Buddy Walker are still best-ies... Edge is be 14 of the doe's *baby daddy* this year.. Dill & Ella were just the first two.. All three does kidding on Thursday are bred to Edge. Edge's dam is marked just like Dill's spotted boy...she is a GCH, has her milk star, La of 90... Edge's sire looks like Ella's buck with the solid ears...since I have never updated my website...here are some pics of Edge...baby pic from when he arrived..and now as a turning 2 year old

yes, Gloomy is bred to Edge (I have fingers and toes crossed that she has at least one little girl for ME LOL)... I know, I know.. I don't NEED anymore Gloomy kids.. BUT.. I can't help myself LOL. I have kept Gloomy kids the last two years

black buck is Walker (Gloomy bred to an Amberwood buck) the red doe (is a 2012 model) she was sired by a homebred buck with Copper-Hill, No-Doubt and Crown-Hill.. one of my favorite combos.. I really like Walker.. He and Edge are the same age but Walker is MUCH larger.. I like my guys BIG LOL.. 3 or 4 does are bred to Walker this year.. I loved the kids out of the *test* doe he bred last year..

solid black doe is of course Ruby Gloom (GLoomy).. she is out of my all time favorite family line...I also bred HER dame Ruthie to Edge (I am hoping for a new jr. herd sire out of her).. Gloomy will be kidding on March 8th.. (full body photo was a couple months ago.. she was just starting to show

I totally agree... I'm greedy and want BOTH..actually I want all three.. great udders/lots of milk/AND color LOL.. (we are finally to the point, herdwise.. where most of the does are really what I would consider.. not just showable.. but able to really compete.. Granted I don't plan on EVER showing ANY of them LOL (20+ years showing dogs..I'm a show burn-out).. BUT>. I really like/need pretty goats with nice tight udders, that can still milk (even if they aren't getting the highest dollar fancy feed)....I'm pretty happy with the direction we are headed.
