The froth you mentioned means there is something growing, whether bacteria or whatever in his gut. E coli?

I think I'd try the Spectoguard or Scour Halt, too.

As far as the "froth", it wasn't actually froth, I should have clarified that a little more, it was just so runny, he had no control over his bowels so it just ran out of him and made little bubbly noises.

He was worse this morning as he just wouldn't eat yesterday. I did tube him, but the way he squirmed, I knew I'd damage his insides shortly with that. He'd just stand there hunched up and moan, so I put him down before I left for work. His brother is still ok as well as the outside kids, which include the other brother.

Thanks Min. I was crying as I took him outside in my jammies and muck booots to do the deed. I had to do it as they are my goats and it's part of being a responsible owner, DH was proud that I didn't even ask him. He wasn't going to get better and would just suffer more the 6 hrs I'm gone today.

Now I'm crying too....I am proud of you too and can't even imagine how hard that was to do. He is not suffering now thanks to you.

I am so very sorry. Maybe the little guy just wasn't put together right.

Ya know why I pick your posts and responses to read? Because I admire you. You have total unflinching respect for your animals. I've made the call for hubby to put an end to a few of our animals. I/we do it out of love and respect. I appreciate you..and I hope the rest of the kidding season/experience goes extremely well.

Blessings~

Oh my Sherry, thank you, you've brought tears to my eyes. I try my best. I relate better to animals than people usually. I do have people skills, but if it's someone I can't talk animals to, I would rather go talk to my animals. Yes, I may be insane, lol. But the animals don't care...I bring them food and scratch them.
