Yarrow's feeding program

the bags I buy (form Hirsch's..in thayer) just says calcium carbonate on it...it comes pre bagged in 50lb bags....They put it in the feed they mill, guessing they use more then they sell bagged..not sure a feed store that doesn't mill and mix would carry it or not...they also sell me ammonia chloride by the pound .65 cents a pound.

I believe my feed mill sells calcium carbonate as "Feed Grade Limestone"

Yes, Calcium Carbonate is nothing more than crushed limestone, but it needs to be "feed grade". I believe that has something to do with being tested for lead content and other impurities, but I may be wrong.
