I wouldn't be surprised one itsy bit if Alice acted like we weren't even here. I'd be sticking my fingers in my ears yelling lalalalalalalala, too.
I'm glad you gals are saying the right thing. I sincerely hope that Dan gets back up to speed and finishes with many, many, uneventful, blessed, and happy years.

Oh Geez!! Dan must love doctors, he's certainly been engineering enough hospital visits here lately!

Most of the squirrels I've eaten in my life were shot with a 12 gauge. The size of the shot is what determines if any is left.
I really hope he didn't do more damage to himself. I shot a pig earlier this year for smirking at me as he was trying to breed his mom. I smirked back with my gun. Sometimes you just gotta shoot something...

He said the wrist is a bit swollen, and he can only put about half the weight on it when using the walker. <----this sentence just amazes me. How rediculous can this whole situation get???
My younger son replied to my first email, "He needs to stop doing stupid s**t."
Then, I emailed him your funny headline about Hubby being beaten into a coma. His reply was that his father's "head is the only bone that isn't experiencing osteoporosis."
I feel like I'm being flogged to a frazzle with an Ace bandage.
Hubbby said the squirrel is on the ground by the second pecan tree from the front porch. I hope something drags it away in the night.
Could someone pray for a few calm days for me, please?
Edited to add: White wine.

Alice, You poor thing! Lots of white wine! Dan doesn't think too clearly sometimes does he & his accidents don't seem to have made a difference. He's just 1 of those kinds of people I think that just DOES & thinks about the consequences later while laying in the hospital.
I 2nd a 410, there is hardly no kick & he can take care of the squirrel population. They don't cost too much either.

Oh my! I don't know if I should laugh at this, say a prayer for you, or give him a good tongue lashing! You certainly have your hands full. Is the therapist willing to come back??

So much for "No squirrels were harmed in the making of this thread"
Sure was a waste of some good squirrel and dumplings..

We will see which therapist shows up on Friday.
I put the gun where he can't get at it.

"No, I am putting the shotgun away. When you can show that you can use it RESPONSIBLY again, and not go shooting squirrels in the front yard when the therapist, or other company, happens to be here, and after you have HEALED, then perhaps you may have it back. Until then, your shotgun privileges have been revoked."

The thing that freaked out the therapist was the thought of your hubby having a banged up wrist? Not that he's shooting out the door while using a walker? LOL!

That and she was almost deafened. She was holding the door open for him.
It's so bizarre that it's almost funny.

Doesn't say a lot for her decision making process, does it?

If she was a really good therapist she would have taken pity on him and shot the squirrel for him instead of letting him get hurt like that.......lol.
