Nope.
I called the clinic number and all I got was the recording saying the clinic was closed until Monday.
The recording gave a couple of numbers of other clinics to call in case of emergency.
I did leave a message but I haven't gotten a call back.
I know I need to find another vet and there is another one that I went to once when I had an emergency with a newborn kitten I was bottle raising. That clinic even has weekend hours (both Saturday and Sunday - no after hours charge) and I really liked them but they are strictly small animal.
So, that leaves my vet, the one I mentioned yesterday, and one other that is a little farther away than the second one, for my goat work.
The thing that I worry about if I switch vets is that so many insist on seeing the animal before they will give out medications. The vet I've been using doesn't seem to have that policy - I've always been able to walk in the door, describe what is going on with cat, dog, or goat and walk out with medications. That helps when you have multiple animals and aren't rich.
I'll call the vet first thing tomorrow morning and run in and get the Nuflor and give him the two shots anyway. He seemed to be feeling fine last night when I fed; at this point, if it weren't for the snotty nose, I wouldn't even be concerned.
