Thanks for the extra info.
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for a good home, if not with Beccachow, then with someone else. I am pretty lucky around here, there are plenty of good homes for brush goats.

Pictures
Ok, I tried to get some pics. She was not totally cooperative, I have several up the nose shots and "oh my god, something went bang outside" shots (that was the heat pump starting up, lol).
Please pardon my hillbilly "barn" lol. It may not be pretty but it keeps them dry and out of the wind and has served us well for two years now.
Pic 1 is a side shot, then one of her checking out the camera... "is this food?" lol. Then one of her licking my knee (not sure why, but Snickers (Skittles' dam) and all of her babies have all like doing that). Pic 4 is her sister Cookie saying "hey, take my picture too!" And in the last shot you can kind of see that she has 1.5 wattles, a full on one the right and a half one on the left, which I think is neat.

Yay! I am so excited that Skittles could end up with you. She is a really sweet girl and I know you take really good care of your pet goaties.
Gotta work til Thursday, but maybe I could swing by this weekend. I think we are going to see an armorer this weekend, so I have to check which day we are free. Maybe do the Horse Expo then head over to your place. Ok, sorry, thinking "out loud" here, lol. I'll PM you when I have a more firm schedule and see if we are free at the same time

Minelson, I think if this works out you may have to have Auntie status, since you were the matchmaker

Sorry, Minelson! We talked on the phone for over an hour this weekend and Beccachow sounds like the perfect home, I am so happy Plus, if all works out, we could end up being riding buddies too It will probably be a couple of weeks before we can make the move, what with life and all getting in the way, but I will let you know when it happens.
I am also having a bit of a complication with Cookie's stool sample coming back mildly positive for strongyles. See my thread here Doe 83 days bred with Strongyles - ?
I really don't want to send Becky a problem, but I'm not sure that worming right now is a good idea either. So need to make sure that we have a plan of action before moving her. I may wait until spring when I can get everyone effectively dewormed before moving her. That is up to Becky, I am fine as long as I know she has a good (great!) home lined up, I don't mind keeping her until we are in the clear.

I am torn. Part of me says to de-worm her, then send her on over. My guys haven't had a problem, but I could also get some feed through for them and some Ivermec for Sammy Sheep (feed through could kill him) the same time Skittles is getting de-loused. What say you guys?

What are the consequences of deworming her now? Feed through anything is not a good idea to me...maybe for fish or chickens but not for larger animals. You need to know what/when/how much and you don't get that with feed throughs.
I say deworm her and send her over....

Since she is not bred & not having baby goats coming soon at your house Becky I'd say it would be fine to worm her & send her over. Usually worming at this time of year is worse for the babies that are coming in the coming kidding season but I could be wrong.
