Thanks to some incredibly late heat cycles (we're thinking it had to do with our uncharacteristically hot, sunny, absolutely no rain weather from July until mid-October), our two Saanens are due in May. Prima Donna is May 6, and Zanadu is hopefully May 20. We're still watching to make sure she doesn't go back into heat at the end of next week to have a better idea. They've both kidded before, but it's our first kidding season, so .

We have 2 due between Feb 8th and the 22nd. We went on vacation and left the does with a buck for a couple weeks so not sure when the deed was done.

The monstrous Saanen dry yearling (literally, one judge said she was the biggest dry yearling he had ever seen) is due Feb. 16

Pandora, coming 5 year old Guernsey due mid-March

Destiny and Serenity (Saanen coming yearlings) are due at the end of April

Pavane, Serenade, and Nocturne (Saanen coming yearlings) are due early-mid May

Artemis (Guernsey yearling) is due at the end of May

I'm still trying to get my FS 92 doe Dancer to settle. We'll have another try next week hoping for some early June kids.

<hanging head in shame>

I don't know exactly.

Trub is PROBABLY early March. I hope...

Jet, well... forgot to write that down, too. Working off-farm full-time has really thrown us off, and I just plumb-dumb forgot to write them both down. Oh, I MEANT to write it down.

But my brain isn't functioning well any more.

We have a pregnant ewe, too, but the seller wasn't sure about her, either.

Just picked her up last night: Willow (tog) - due 2/19 No one else is bred at the moment. Decided to give my younger nigie doelings another few months to grow and have retired the older girls. Might try breeding two younger (1 togg, 1 nigie) does this month which would put them in early June

When do goats start looking pregnant? My luck, 5 minutes before kidding, right?
Or three months or more so I can go crazy looking at her
