Does she have a vet that will send a prescription for whatever Rx items she might need to PBS Animal Health? I like Dona's idea and Thai can just make a list for the vet and then it will all come in one package. Gift cards are a great idea though, even for Wal-mart.

Of Course I'm in too! I like the idea of Jeffers gift cards, PBS Animal or some of the other on line animal sites some of us buy from like Hoeggers, etc. That way she can order what she wants or needs at the time instead of trying to store a bunch of things right now without her own place yet.

Let me know when & what to do too please.

Thanks, I have to say with the drought and economy I worry about you guys spending any money on me/my goats. I would feel guilty accepting any supplies or gift cards, especially when you can use it for your own animals.

Oddly enough my garage which is just 8-10 feet from the house is still standing, the siding melted there but it is intact along with the barn and chicken coop. The fire dept did a good job of keeping it at the house and making sure our large propane tank did not go, nor any of the other buildings.

Really odd thing my LGD water bucket was near the sliding glass doors which exploded, but it did not melt his bucket which was a mere 3 feet away, yet the bucks buckets which were further away did melt.

I have to go feed them all. Thank you for your caring and support.

I've got a bunch of goat supplies but no goats - we moved to the burbs. Can I email Thai a list of what I have and see if she wants any?

Thai, honey, if we all send a little bit, how are we hurting ourselves? My DH just got a new job and I wanna *share* the love!

You know that most goat meds aren't that expensive by themselves, it's just when you have to get them all at once that it can be such a drain on the bank account.

Would it make you feel better if we sent meds and stuff from our own stash, things we might have double of? I know that I have an extra bottle of C,D&T toxoid, C&D anti-toxin, Tetanus antitoxin and Biomycin, because DH and I both stopped at the Co-Op on the same day and both bought the same things, and because it was a week or so before we realized we had doubled up, we never bothered returning the stuff. There is no way I would even come close to using all of that before it expired.

We WANT to help. We love you, and we want to help make things better. We feel helpless being so many miles away and not being able to do anything constructive for you. Please let us help?

You know that you would have a bit of relief knowing that you have things on hand to treat the goaties if you need to...it would be a little less stress for you knowing you had the stuff on hand. PLEASE let us help?

If you're going to send meds, be sure to get cold packs for them.

I was thinking the same thing. I bought 4 bottles of antitoxin after Emily's disaster. (I went a little overboard) I also have 12 of the big tubes of Replamin. I have an extra bottle of Banamine and I buy syringes by the case. If nothing else, I would gladly load you up with a few doses of Nuflor, Banamine, B-Complex, Bo-Se, etc in case of an emergency until we can pull this all together. I don't even know if that's legal but I'm happy to do it. I'm sure most of my meds will expire before I use them too. I could ship it out Monday and you would have it by Tuesday at the latest.

Let me know!

thai, I don't think anyone will send more than they can afford or have available in their stash medicine goat cabinets. Please let us help you for those of us that want to & are able.

Ok. I just tried to order something and it added 3 things to my cart but not the thing I ordered. Do I just delete them and try again?

The wish list also said I was ordering 250ml of vaccine but my cart shows I'm buying 5ml. Are there multiple bottles on there? My view of the wish list says she only needs 1. I'm actually terrible with computers....<shame>

Ok, I'm a little confused.

I'm trying to purchase a few items for Thai off her wish list, but on the billing/shipping page, it says "ship to" MY address.

I'm afraid to hit "submit" because I'm afraid if I do, the items will come to me.

Also, since my user name here is not my name on my account at Jeffer's, how will she know it's from me (not that it matters - it might be confusing to her, though, when a name comes up that she's never heard of).

Help?

It did the same thing with me - added something that I hadn't planned on.

I just figured I had done something wrong so I hit the little red X and deleted it. LOL
