So amazing that he was not hurt worse than that - good goat milk, indeed!

I hope that your 'closing up' chores go swiftly and easily and that you drive slowly and carefully down to your more southern home and be reunited.

My goodness! I'm glad he wasn't hurt worse. Sending good vibes for speedy recovery and for glitch-free packing and preparing!

What an awful thing to happen. I hope his healing is fast and smooth.

Son is with Dan at hospital. They are doing physical therapy today to determine his status re: going home.

Have alerted Home Heath (run by a mom of my sons' classmates) and located a walker on loan.

The brakes on the trailer aren't working. Have repair crew on that. Can't travel with 16 foot trailer and goats with no brakes.

Have friends shutting down water/water heater at cabin.

Plowing through paperwork.

Went to lawyer, post office, bank this morning.

You sound like your mind is going in a zillion different directions. Hope Dan gets to come home soon, the trailer gets fixed & you have a safe journey home.

Sorry. Accept the help that is offered. Enjoy the friendship that you have here and around you. You will be dishing it out for someone else again soon.

And don't be hard on yourself.

One more day of healing already. Good work. Keep us updated on the progress even when it's two steps forward and one step back. Wishing all that you need in the hospital cafateria. Sometimes you will be surrounded by others and sometimes you will want to be alone. It's all OK.
