Could you PM Me your town so I can figure out how much gas it would cost. The onky person i know in Mo is in Osceola and his tractor is still in Tennessee so no meeting in springfield.

Donna, my brother (who DOESN'T have a tractor) lives just off of exit 61. We know several people around there. We can probably figure a way to get you loaded.

I ran the miles from Oologah to Exit 61, it is 150 miles. I would be much farther east than that. Does that help?

Yeah that does. Is it safe having the hay wet? I'm scared of mold.

With round bales the rain just rolls off and they are often stored outside. You still have to be careful for mold...just like with squares

This is why there are so many more rounds available. Even large squares (just like small squares) have to be stored inside because rain would run right through them. Rounds are made to withstand some weather. If you are concerned, you can peel off the outer edge. It will be dry in the middle.

I have requested more pictures of the "middle" of the bales. I know that times are tough and that some folks have "one shot" at getting good hay and I am working just as diligently as I can to find all the answers that I can. I have to say, this man has been very helpful and is EXTREMELY courteous. That helps a lot when needing get to lots of information.

We also have contacts that have net-wrapped Bermuda for the same price. (I know one fella has his in the barn.) If there is a need and you would rather have it, that is certainly an option.

I have a person who wants a trailer load (38 bales), but does not have a tractor to unload them! She is west of Alton.

Let me work on it, Alice. We have been hauling hay and wheat straw in to a fella at Alton. I'll see if I can find someone to help.

I sent you an email with her info. She is also going to ask a neighbor about his tractor.

Here's the grass...

I am tossing something out there to my MO neighbors... - Goats

He says he pulled this from the middle of the bale. It looks good to me folks.

We unrolled a bale of Bermuda hay last night (truth is, we were trying to cast seeds). It smelled so good. I reminded myself of Minelson (or whoever it is on here) that samples everything she feeds her goats. It smelled good enough to eat. One of this year's doelings was out there with us and she agreed! We had rolled it out for the cows though. I wanted to get down and stick my nose in the whole thing. Gees!

Seriously, we have a list of loads to haul, so please, let me know if you need some and whether you are in dire straits or not.

Thanks!!
