I've booked a room too! Lord, I wouldn't wait until the last minute! There are going to be a LOT of folks there. Thanks, Minelson, for the search! I am so busy I am meeting myself coming and going!

REQUEST....would anyone coming to Expo be able to haul a disease free doe in milk for me? So far I've found a nice 2 y.o. lamancha in Humansville, MO. Or if someone else knows of any clean breeders in their area. Prefer a lamancha, mini mancha or a top quality Nigerian. Must be in milk or freshening by December. Thanks in advance!!!!

Thanks for the hotel info Minelson. Gonna call tonite and see what I can get. Getting excited.

I called the motel to compare rates and it was $10 a night cheaper through Expedia.

Pony, I am about 30 minutes south of you. However, I have been planning my trip for some time now.

I'm debating on going to NGE now or not. I'd like to meet up with you guys that are going, but we are only able to be there Sunday and must leave by noon on Monday and besides walking around looking at goaties and meeting up, there isn't anything else going on. http://nationalgoatexpo.org/docs/Sem...g_schedule.pdf This is the schedule I just found and there isn't anything going on during that time that interests me - I really thought they'd have way more seminars and informational things going on, and we had to cancel the arrival of my goats from Nevada because they are still in the 90s and we have had frost the last 8 days except today, too risky, thus no goaties to pick up for me. If it wasn't a 6.5 hr drive plus the cost of expenses. DH is thrilled as he didn't want to go anyway. So, if I don't go, ya'll have fun and maybe next year it will be something better to look into.

Sorry if you are not going to make it I was looking forward to meeting you...but I understand. I am not good at long drives at all. This is only a 4 hour drive for me. When I told my hubby about it his first question was "is this just you or us" I said "just me" and the look of relief on his face was priceless
