When my goat had staph dermatitis the heads were more white. If it is staph then it's not a big deal in regards to the buckling. I would have a feel and see if they're milk cysts. They're not a big deal for milking but if you want to show or sell that may be a deterrent to potential buyers. Did you ask the owners what the bumps were?

I think they're both nice looking. I wouldn't kick either one out of my herd.

Love South Fork Lamanchas My buck is a Toi Soldier son........ Loved him so much, he was my 1st lamancha purchase.... Added does later...... He's a beautiful buck, I just adore him, but I have to wait until I freshen his daughter to see if he's truly any good

Billoo- *+B SG South Fork Toi Soldier wasn't national champion (that I know of), but he was on the Elite Sire list in 2008 & #1 on the ADGA Elite Sire list in 2009.....LA at 3 years old was EEE- EX91.....His daughters did well at the 2010 Nationals.......

Those lil bucklings are adorable!!

I agree with Coso on the teat delineation....... If possible, go milk the doe 1st. I have one doe with teat delination like that doe & for me, she is the hardest for me to milk. She's a FF and her teats are a lil shorter than the bucklings dam pictured here...... Seems no matter how I grab, I feel like I'm getting udder tissue (I'm very careful not to milk too high up) so I have to milk her slowly & carefully... Just don't like it. I like the genetics behind her, so I'm keeping her to hopefully keep a doeling from my buck, and then she's on the cull list...... Hopefully next year her teats will lengthen making it easier...

So, milk the dam, and if you like hand milking her, take the boys home

I agree with Coso on the doe. Pretty good looking doe, despite the bad angles.
Would like to see a shot from another angle showing her fore-udder and shoulders. Especially the fore-udder.
I like her.
