UPDATE: Neighbor behind me called and said the goats were two doors down from her. And that her and the neighbor were going out to try to get them with some feed. I was out moving the goats from one pen to another and didnt have the phone with me. So as soon as I heard the message we jumped in the truck to head over that way. Then she called and said dont come over to my street, stay on your street they went to the end of my property and are heading north along your next door neighbors property, so we went next door and looked all over in the pastures. Then the man we sold them to (i had called him and told him what was going on) came with two trucks and 4 boys. My husband and I walked one way in the holler while they walked the other way. It is a deep ravine that is hard to get down to. Well we didnt find them! I think they must hear their mammas but when we went to look for them, none of us could find them. I am so hot and frustrated. Hoping they make it out of this ok. Gonna go back out in a little bit.

That is actually still pretty good news imo. Atleast you know they are still in the area and alive. Maybe walk momma goat around and get her making some noise???

Yes I tried to get moms to go with me, and of course they didnt want to, they are from 3 different mammas. It was too hot for them, they just took off down that way, so i am getting ready to drive down there and go along the fence to see if I see them.
Yes I thought it was good news as well, at least a half a mile from the highway and back towards me. ALthough they only get the brush along our fence and where they are at right now, they probably think they died and went to heaven, they may never want to come back out of there! Until a coyote shows up! My great Prys might be able to keep them safe if they stay next to the fence because the coyotes wont come too close now. We see them in the neighbors pasture as our dogs bark to them to keep on movin buddy!

I was hoping that would have been something that would have worked. But if the mama goats weren't cooperative then not much you could do then the mama's.
Hope you guys are able to get them before they wonder further off and lose track of them.

uuuuggggg!!!! This is getting really frustrating, I get a call from our pastors wife who lives in our town, and just happens to be driving home a different way than usual and calls and says I think I found those three goats you were looking for. So I jump in my car and get over there and sure enough there they were looking like yard ornaments in someones yard. But they wouldnt come to me, and then owners kids showed up on a 4 wheeler and it scared them off into a large corn field. Then it got dark. I wished there was a way to head them off but the people wouldnt let us corral them into there garage/barn because of the cars in it, and I understood, but I had to ask. So they are still out roaming around the area. Not sure if we are ever going to catch them. I have spent a lot of hours looking for them, I dont mind I just wish they would show up in my yard and I could open the fence and they go right in!! So if you are a prayer, than pray that way, I am getting tired!

I don't know 4 of my goats(2 days ago) found a way out of the pasture my neighbor is letting me use and I was freaking out cause I called and called both my daughters and my mother helped me look, just when I was about to give up and was very near tears (was all three of my boys and Pawnee too) my mom spotted em at a place a bit further down. Don't know how they got out but figured they did it once they will do it again, so they are all back home now. You will find em ...are you carrying a bucket of feed in your car??

Take one of the mother goats with you. Just one. That way as she's calling for others, the kids should hear her.

UPDATE!!!!!!! THEY ARE HOME!!!!!
Neighbor behind us called today as I was driving home, to say that her mother say the goats yesterday afternoon after we searched the ravine but before we saw them by the church and I told her the story and then said I am going to drive around before I go home just to see if I see them. Four houses up there they are laying in the shade by the pond. I said hold on, I see them, she said you wont me to come help. And all of a sudden the new owner just happens to be driving by and I said here comes the owner, so I try to flag him down and he waves and then I pointed and he wasnt sure what I was doing, he stops his truck and I said there's your goats!! He said oh my goodness. Well my fence line ends just another house down, so I drove slow to keep them from going back to the creek/ravine and he went behind them. And finally they are in "my yard" except that it is really just the area between our pasture fence and the street. Then all of a sudden the cross the street and go behind the house which is a little ways a way, so I run to the barn get feed, and call all the mammas to come with me, well the babies made their way back down the yard from across the street and started hollering for their mammas. We got them to come closer and cross the street and then we walked them to my front yard! from there we got them to the back and I opened up the pasture gate!!!!! As soon as they were in there, the little brown one came right up to me, like hi whats up. Seriously you wouldnt come to me out around the neighborhood, but now you love me. The guy has his gate fixed and talked to the kids about it. I told him he can just come back whenever to get them, they can stay here until he is sure it is fixed. Thanks for all the prayers! i looked it up and they traveled a rectangle area that was between 2 miles North to South and .6 miles east-west

Here are two of the brats!
