Joscelyn is off of the respirator, and breathing on her own!!!! Jennifer didn't get to hold her tonight, but Joss is sucking on her pacifier like crazy! She's sleeping now, so we'll see what tomorrow brings. Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and words. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She's not out of the woods yet.

Praise be to God our Father, the Great Physician!

I am so pleased and just in tears at God's mercy.

Thanks, Ranger, for bringing our little sister Joss and her family to us so we can lift her up. I continue to pray for her recovery, and that God will be glorified through her life.

Our girl's fever did go down. Unfortunately, the seizures returned. The latest MRI showed that they missed a VERY small piece of "bad" brain. She will have to have another surgery either today or tomorrow. Apparently even as small as a one centimeter piece can cause everything to fall apart. sigh Hopefully this will "fix" every thing.

Joss is alert and eating well, though. She's alert enough that she stole one of the nurses' ID badge to play with. lol And that binkie is always in place!!

They will go back in and get the piece of diseased tissue that they missed the first time at 8 tomorrow morning. I can only hope that this is the last of any surgery that she has to go through.

Some good news, though, she had her first therepy session this morning and did great!! Jennifer said that she laughed and smiled during the whole thing. That's our little warrior princess!!!!

Ah, I just wanna scoop her up and squeeze her! she's beautiful. continuing to pray that God's hand be upon her, complete healing and wisdom for the surgeons.

How is she doing today? My heart catches every time I see a picture of her. . . I can not imagine the heart ache of actually knowing her.

At 3:30 Joss was still in surgery, but the doctors said that everything looked good, and were not far from closing up. She did well, and we hope that this will stop the seizures. I'll post more when I hear how she is.
