Well, just found my date for Candy's breeding to the Nubian buck and. . . there is no way that breeding could have taken at this point, like we'd assumed; however, she is clearly pregnant - no question. . .so when one of the Nigi bucks got out, it almost had to be him. . .we didn't lute her since we thought she was bred. Ugh! It is possible Moses bred her through the fence, but highly unlikely - the kidding will tell the tale. . .no doubts when one sees the size and ears. . .

I have a pygmy doe, who many years ago mysteriously got bred.
I had a pygmy buck and a Saanen buck and I knew that neither one of them had been loose. But one day, I started to notice the obvious signs that this little doe had been bred..... by somebody. I knew that it was highly unlikely - ok, impossible - that if one or both of the bucks had gotten out, that he/they would have conveniently put themselves back in after breeding this one doe, so my only other possibility was that she had climbed over the five foot cattle panel, gotten bred, and then climbed back out.
Back then I didn't know about 'lute' (it was probably too late by the time I realized she was preggers, anyway) and I kept my fingers crossed that she had gotten bred by the pygmy and not the Saanen.
Well.......one day, I got a call at work from my son that "Muffin" was having her babies - and that they were "Jack's" (the Saanen).
I said, "No way!"
And he said, "Mom, they're all white."
She had four healthy pure white babies - three bucklings and a tiny, but healthy, doeling.
So, she either got herself into the buck pen and then back out.....or she got bred through the fence. The little hussy.
It will be interesting to see what Candy has.......and when.

But still can't figure out what date she should be due? Now we'll all be curious to see what she has.

ok so question. Could you know a ball park date by adding 21 to the time you knew she was in heat and bred the first time that didin't take? It can't be that far away. She would pop.
