Only buck's nose can touch the barred window-- the doe can do not much more - 5 months later birth of a single doeling. That had to be sperm passed by nose!!! No other way possible. No we did not want her bred to that buck but La/ Obies are cute<G>

Any doe, of any age, that happens to be cycling and in heat, will try to figure out a way to a buck's "special purpose". (Euphemism from my DH, who read it in a naughty comic some 40 years ago and adopted it. Glad it caused you some giggles!) Any buck, of *almost* any age, will rack his hormone-laden brain to try to accommodate her and show her that his "purpose" is REALLY "special".
So if Beauty comes into heat in two days, she is going to try to figure out how to get bred in two days. ~grinz~ Unlike humans, girly goats don't tend to be coy at all, even when they are young and "innocent". I think conversations go like this:
Buck: But honey, I can't get over the fence!
Doe: ~looks thoughtfully at the fence~ I can't get over the fence either, but I think I know of something that CAN!
Buck: Huh? Oh yeah, it could too! Even though it is backed by hardware cloth with half-inch holes, there is a bit of a rip and pull RIGHT HERE. But dear, it is three foot off of the ground!
Doe: Yes, I see that. But I think that if you put your back hooves on that lowest bar on the hog panel, and your front hooves on the second bar from the top, and arch really good, you should be able to get as much as three inches through that hole!
Buck: That's a great idea! But, my sweet, innocent flower, how will that reach your blossoming doe-hood? (Had to go to Bad-Romance-Novel-Speak here. Sorry.)
Doe: Well, my handsome, smelly, hunk of pure buckliness, I shall back up, put my rear hooves on the third bar up of the hog panel, and that should do the trick!
Buck: ~blubbering~ I love you, honey!
Doe: I love you, too, Stinky!
Both in Unison: Let's do it!

This is one goat forum post that, when dd13 comes in and asks what I am laughing at (okay- why i am rolling on the floor in hysterics) I will not show her. And, as a farm girl, dd13 has seen the equipment in action.
Thanks for the laugh, Caliann! I don't remember when I have laughed so much!
