I'm not emotionally retarded, or strange, or off my rocker. I am perfectly normal. It's not my fault the rest of the world doesn't have sense enough to enjoy goats and all of the pics and wonderfulness that comes with them.

Patrick the soultion is simple, do not look at the pictures or come to the goat forum if you do not like them. I am sure many here will miss your vast google knowledge and compassion you have shown.

Your compassion was quite evident in the Pet forum to the people who lost a Lesser Sulfur Cockatoo. So googling failed you there and let's question people about a bird's age after such a loss. Google/research better, they live longer then 30 yrs on average, or keep quiet if you have nothing nice or productive to say. Hmm we may never hear from him again
Differing opinions or good arguments are a plus at times you learn more that way IMO, but you seem to just want to be snarky and do not appear to have any actual knowledge of goats aside from maybe your friend's alleged herd of Nubians.

We like the pictures, some ask for pictures and even our mod CJB will tell you " Without pictures it didn't happen".

OBF I am not feeding the troll more like getting it off my chest whether he reads it or not

Minelson HT was down for me last night when I was looking at your pictures so I went and looked through mine. I have waaaay too many pictures of my animals, I guess I am an emotional retard too, but that is ok I am in good company!

My Nubian wether says he likes pictures too, so smile!

Thai, I agree completely with you. And no I don't believe you are feeding troll. You sometimes taking away the food isn't enough and you have to chase them away with a broom. It's just the nature of stray trolls. If that doesn't work, then you have to set the LGD's on them. It's sad really when a person devolves into a troll, but strays can't be let to just run loose.

A newbie who joins a forum just to criticize it and bring it down might be called socially retarded.
It's not just "newbies" who like to do that.
New ones are just easier to spot sometimes

Amen! I missed that whole thread and have just gone back to read it. OMG! To each his/her own but count me among the 'retarded'.

We should each post some pictures of our "family members." That would be most fun to look at
I have 5 outdoor cats. When we first got the chickens they were very curious and would stalk them a bit and I yelled at them and it stopped.
When we got the ducks they were not even curious. And they are big time hunters. I would not trust them with chicks or ducklings though...although the mama hens keep the chicks well protected and I never lost one to a cat.
I think you should do it!! Ducks are a blast! Our male, Lynnie, chases the dogs around the yard. And they always have to be where I am. That seems to be true with all the critters though LOL!

patty...you need to understand that people have different views, passions and perspectives. Some people do not understand how someone can paint their face and scream about their favorite ball team. Why do some folks praise a god they have never seen? Why are some passionate about hunting animals for sport? It's differences that make the world go around. The biggest question here is, why do some people feel the need to judge things they don't understand? Unless it hurts you...leave it be.

My animals have done so much for me. I eat more than I make pets out of by far, and demand production even from those that I don't eat... but what's so wrong with a few pets?

Nothing wrong with having different opinions!

But there's definitely something wrong when someone rudely cuts people down and calls them emotional retards just because they have a different outlook on the world.
