What damage did you end of having? Will you expect a full recovery?
Boy, that was scary. I remember when my father had a pretty bad one and he had to lie on the family room floor all night until someone found him.

Did you recover? Was it a stroke or a TIA?

What a totally helpless feeling to be on the flooor and totally unable o get up!
I knew I could lie there. unaided, for days UNLESS I could reach the telephone. . . . . And there was the phone, on it's perch above the level of the kitchen table, HOW ON EARTH would Ibe able to get a-hold of it???????

Sitting on the floor on my butt was no fun, either, I had no balance, and kept on rolling over onto my face, Eventually Iwas able to grasp a loose piece of moldng off one of the base cabinets, providing myself with a long, slim, stiff tool with which to tease the telephone handset off its cradle and off the table. I was able then to call my neighbor, who cane to assist me and got the 911 ball rolling,
Very scary, but the will to survive came through again! I bet you were thinking about the critters.

On 1-31 it was posted that you needed prayers and on 2-7 you are back online! Amazing YOU GO GIRL!!!

Now that I have seen what can happen to someone who has a stroke, I am so happy for you and so happy that there is little or no residual damage. My mom had a major one.
