Mix in some snow cone syrup or something sweet like that to make it more palatable.

I'll pick up the Albon tomorrow after school. I wanted to double check before spending another $60 on meds.

She definitely looks more gaunt today. Gave her a little bit of alfalfa pellets and a pinch of rice bran.

Just an update. We're on the second day of treating with Albon.

Her second dose was today and what a difference in energy level. It took two of us(and the stanchion) to get it in her. LOL Poor baby, I tried to make up with alfalfa pellets and she turned her nose up until we put her back in the pasture.

Oh, yes, she's highly offended.

She was indeed.

(She waited until we walked away to eat the alfalfa pellets in the pasture. Guess she didn't accept my apology. LOL! Oh well, better a POed goat than a sick one. )

Glad that she seems to be on the mend.

A whole gallon of Albon, eh? That'll hold you for a while!

So glad she's feeling better! Thank goodness they don't hold a grudge long!
