My website is Cannon Farms and we are the home of Udderly Southern Dairy Goats with Udderly Southern as my herdname.
Glade Haven has that been suggested, Ill admit Im just skimming over post..

locust tree name is Gleditsia or Robinia

I'm awful with these things though. I recently joined ADGA, & sent off my herd name application. I sent it priority with return reciept so I'd know when it arrived. They got it December 28th, and the check I paid for everything with still hasn't been cashed so I'm thinking it's going to be a while before I know if my herd name was accepted & get all my registration papers back.....

I agree with the person that said leave off "farm"... of course you can use farm in the name of your place but for the herdname its mostly for the registered names and I think those are good choices without it. Mine's called "Sunshiny Daze".

Well...I think I am going with "Mizbeehaven", can't possibly have been taken by anyone else!!! LOL!!!

Thanks everyone.

The organization that my goats are already registered in is the AGS...I understand that it is easier to transfer registry from AGS to any other registering organization. Any opinions on goat registeries to share?

There is a MizBeeHaven on Etsy...you had better check to see if she has legal rights to the name before you try to register it for your place.

ACKKK!!!!!! Do not Google "Mizbehaven" or even Mizbeehaven(cause it will get you the "other one"....

Lordy, even if I could have used it I shudder to think of someome looking for ME and coming up with that!!

Turned a perfectly cute herd name in to...well....

No need to even contact the Etsy potter...

Back to the drawing board..

Hmmm...we must have some decent filters because I didn't find anything nasty when I looked. Of course, I didn't get past the second page or so.

Ok, so give us some other facts about your place so that we can come up with the most perfect name for it!

I thought someone mentioned it, but I can't find it now. Anyway, GladeHaven has a nice ring to it...even GladeHaven Acres...has a long A in each word and sounds quite pleasant, I think.

GladeHaven Farm..yes taken. Not goats that I saw, but I need a farm name too and want to use for both.

No "hits" on Locust Glade but there is a pet boarding place in Fla called "Almost Haven"....

Phooey. How about Blossomwood? Do you have Honey locust, or just Black? Honey Locust Hideaway?
