One ml/lb SQ once a day for 5 days; she notes that it can be very painful, so be ready with the raisins.
Fiasco Farm actually says one ml per 20 lbs. Just wanted to make sure that was clear. NOT PER LB. (that's a lot of painful drug!)

No, it wasn't you, not at all.

I was going to ad my $.02 on Fiasco Farms but thought better about it. A lot on here use them for the bible, and they are easy to understand, and I didn't want to cause waves. I just find there are much better references out there, though I think they are a good place to start for newbies.

I don't ever want to discourage owners from learning or seeking knowledge. Our goats & their future & well-being can't afford that given the lack of scientific studies. Better for owners to seek information & be aware than not seek at all, KWIM? Too many goats suffer as it is. It's all about the goats.

Lonestarchic the Interestral (sp) pnemonia is the exception to the rule of fever and antibiotics.
If I suspected that they'd be hit hard & heavy with antibiotics. Ruling out the other possible causes is important so we aren't just simply running to antibiotics for every runny nose.

I don't go solely on what FF says (note my link to tennessee meat goats). There are lots of different sources out there, and as you note, it's important to seek knowledge all over.
