I use frozen milk to make goat milk soap.

While cleaning the freezer, I found 6-8 gallons of frozen goat milk from last year (10). Is there anything worthwhile I can do with it? Note: I have not had good luck with thawing goat milk as it separates into solids a whey. Is there a thawing secret?[/QUOTE]

i believe i've seen to thaw is best done in the fridge slower instead of out on a counter, faster.

i would like to knwo too, as i just found out dahltech will ship me 108 half gallon jugs with caps for 36.00. i think that's a great deal, will be enough for winter milk for 2 years. i'll start storing it in a couple months, so it won't be frozen very long.

i've only had it turn chunky a few times, but do not know why it happens. i have been using ziplocks but am very sick and tired of having them damaged in the freezer, and the milk tasting like...freezer. blah. and thawing is a pain too, so the jugs will be awesome.

the stuff i have frozen in ziplocks is now for soap.
