I decided not to sign after all. My computer hung up on the site, and that gave me more time to think about it.

An administration that encourages people to "tattle" on family and neighbors is not an administration to be trusted. Petitions don't do any good, and neither will my info popping up in yet one more place do me any good.

The white house web site allows anyone to start a petition. We are not asking people to go to our personal web sites. True laws are not made by petitions but it is possible they will look at the petition and realize the American public want something different and at least look at the law. The only way things will ever change is if we unite and our voices are heard. My husband is a federal officer (different capacity) and the gov already knows everything they need on any of us. Our name on a milk petition is not going to give them any information they don't already have. If they need to know it they already do. If we don't stand together we don't have a chance.

Is there a petition to do away with the FDA entirely? Seems that they have been more of a pain than a help.

There are petition sites that can be set up, then forwarded. Actually this is a hot topic, I'll bet there are a few set up already that are independant.

My concern is a direct link back to the computer it was posted from; how long before the divide & conquer agenda comes knocking on the door? I don't milk goats, and currently buy pasturized, but I believe people should have the choice to drink raw milk if they are so inclined.

If the governement wants to govern, then they should require raw milk to be labeled appropriately, so if by chance someone grabs it instead of pasturized, they are warned.

Really, we run far higher risks ingesting many of the "approved" foods. Think about those energy drinks not too long ago, didn't they cause hallucinations or something? They were fully approved & on the market before the issue was realized.

Actually you run a higher risk of dying in a car crash on your way to get the raw milk than from the raw milk itself.

Yea, especially since we have *gasp* guns. You know that's a sure sign of a criminal.

I still want to know why the FDA has guns. And why we have to pay for them to have guns. And if they're properly trained in the use of those guns.

And especially why they use those guns in their illegal raids....

We are almost half way there woohoo!!! Maybe they will look at this petition and look at the bill that Ron Paul submitted and maybe they will make it legal again! I am keeping my fingers crossed!
